What this Privacy Policy Covers

This privacy policy covers how Shizzow treats personal information that it receives through a your use of Shizzow services. Shizzow does not collect any information about you personally without your prior acknowledgement.

Information Collection and Use

Shizzow collects personal information when you signup up for a Shizzow account and when you fill out information about yourself in your user preferences section. All personal information you submit through the preferences section will be published on Shizzow.com on your user profile page, except for your birthdate, email address, phone number, IM and password.

Your location is unknown to us until you shout, or manually notify us of, your location. To do so, you must search for the place that you are currently at in the Shizzow database, and physically click the Shout button at that place. Shizzow does not track your location, nor is Shizzow able to discover your location without direct interaction from you.

Shizzow automatically receives and records information from your computer and browser, including your IP address, Shizzow cookie information, and software and hardware attributes. Shizzow uses this information to gain a better understanding of the technological capabilities of its users.

By default, Shizzow publishes your current location and previous locations on the Shizzow website. Third-party entities that interact with Shizzow services also have the ability to consume and publish your current location and previous locations.

At any time, you may update your privacy preferences to prevent your location from being discovered by unauthorized people or services. By changing your privacy setting to Private, your location will not be disclosed to any person on Shizzow that you have not explicitly approved to view, known on Shizzow.com as listen, to your shouts, known on Shizzow.com as the events upon which you notify Shizzow of your location. Additionally, when you have listed your Privacy setting as Private, a list of your favorite places will not be made available to any person or service that you have not specifically approved to view that information.

Disclosure of Information

Shizzow does not rent or sell any of your personal information with other non-affiliated companies. Shizzow may disclose or transfer the information upon the completion of a definitive agreement under which SHZ Technologies, Inc. is aquired by a third party.

Shizzow cooperates with government, law enforcement and emergency health officials to enforce and comply with the law. Shizzow may disclose your location information if required to do so by law, or if such action is necessary to conform to a legal order or comply with a legal process served on Shizzow.

Cookies

Like most web sites, Shizzow uses cookies to collect additional website usage data and improve the Shizzow website and its services. Shizzow does not use cookies to collect any personally identifiable information from you.

Shizzow reserves the right to update this policy at any time effective upon its publishing at http://shizzow.com/policies. It is your obligation to periodically review this Privacy Policy.
